![]() ![]() I'm not calling them and swearing and ruining their day, I get the reps I'm talking to are powerless in most cases. I continue friendly and was perfectly calm but firm today even as they explained they have no fix. I've been nice and calm to every T-Mobile employee I have interacted with over the past 6 months. *In case any anyone was concerned I was too hard on the rep I was very calm and professional throughout the call, I understand this is just someone who is tasked with dealing with customers and has very little real power, I was however firm that T-Mobile was in the wrong here (and likely violating the law). This is some serious bull shit and T-Mobile deserves to face the consequences or be prepared to actually be transparent with their billing system and policies. If anyone else has gotten caught in this please start bombarding the regulatory bodies at the FCC, FTC, State level etc. I said that was fine for now as it would buy me X months without having to call in for the $10 but I would continue to be in contact with the regulatory agencies as T-Mobile is refusing to honor their advertisements and hiding "policies" about their "system" from the public view in an attempt to defraud and deceive customers. She also confirmed this voice lines take precedence and she was powerless to fix it.Īs a consolation to their false advertising she offered to pay off a phone EIP that had a few hundred dollars left on it. If you have been on this reddit a while you may have heard that other mention that Auto-pay discount are limited to the first 8 lines and voice lines always get them before tablets or other devices no matter when you add them. They are literally advertising a free line, telling their store and phone reps it is free, and then increasing customer bills. ![]() I explained that this was blatant false advertising. ![]() "The system" only does it this way and there is no way to fix it. To my surprise she straight up confirmed they have no way to fix this. I got a response quickly from the T-Mobile executive office. So this month I had enough and submitted complaints to the CPUC, FCC, and FTC. Some even go as far to say they will set an appointment for a follow up call next month to confirm the bill is fixed (never get a call back).Īs you can guess it has never worked and I'm charged $10 more per month every month. The reps apologize, credit me the $10, confirm free means free and I should not have seen a bill increase, and promise me they have fixed the discount and it will correctly apply in the next bill. Every month since (6 months) I have called in to T-Mobile and requested the discount be fixed. It became very clear that Auto-pay discounts had been removed from my tablet lines and placed on the free lines increasing my bill by $10. I posted a while back about adding two free lines and having my bill increase. They posted those free line advertisements with an intent to defraud and deceive by purposefully hiding the full terms and conditions of their discounts. T-Mobile straight up admitted to false advertising on the free line promotions and their Auto-pay discounts have terms and conditions that are completely not available to the public or even most employees. r/tmoemployees: The sub for employees only Slow Data Speeds? - Read this to learn before you post!
